Spouse coverage amounts

$50,000 to $250,000 in $10,000 increments


Children's Insurance 

Up to to $5,000 for ages 6 months old to age 26 (children age 15 days to 6 months can be covered for $250)

  • How much insurance can I purchase through this program?

    You can apply for $50,000 through $250,000 of coverage, in $10,000 increments.
  • Can I also insure my family members?

    Yes, you can also apply for coverage on your spouse (through age 64) and your children (from 15 days old to age 26).
  • Are lower non-smoker rates available?

    You qualify for nonsmoker rates if you have not smoked cigarettes, cigars or a pipe, or used chewing tobacco, nicotine chewing gum or snuff during the 12 months before submitting an application for life insurance.
  • When is the coverage effective?

    When your application is approved by the insurer and we have received your first premium payment, your insurance will become effective as of the first of the month coinciding with or following approval.
  • Do I have to meet with an insurance agent?

    Issuance of this policy is handled over the Internet and the mail. You can review the materials in the privacy of your home and purchase your policy directly through the mail without meeting with an agent. You can, of course, talk to a licensed representative if you'd like. Please view the Contacts section for the toll-free number.
  • What if I have second thoughts after I apply?

    You will have 30 days from the date of receipt to review the insurance certificate. If you are not satisfied with the terms of the certificate, simply return it to the Insurance Administrator and any premiums paid will be refunded in full, minus any claims paid.
